Preston Clark shows off Trophy !!

Preston and 9 other Americans were chosen to represent America in the 2010 Annual Euro Bass Cup challenge.  Talking with Preston here's the rest of
the story.


"Prior to the trip to Portugal we all studied Pego Do Altar Reservoir in Lisbon and learned what we could to be prepared.  When it came time to go pre-fish
we were told the lake had been changed and they would be fishing a different lake. What a surprise !!  We would now be fishing Lake Santa Clara in southern Lisbon.
We didn't think much of it figuring no one had pre-fished the lake so we were on a level playing field.  We were aloud to pre-fish for 1 1/2 hours and afterwords do our sponsor
thing signing autographs and things.  One of the persons I signed an autograph for asked what lake we would be fishing and I told him.  He said the Europeans had just fished that
lake and took 1st, 2nd and 3rd.  Naturally our team was upset and on day 1 of the competition we were behind 2 1/2 points.  We the American Team put our heads together
that night and on the 2nd day we spanked butt.  We put it on them taking 81/2 points and the  win.  This was a trip of a lifetime and one that I will never forget, I made numerous friends
and one of them came over and I took him to Toho on a fishing trip.  He could not believe the number of large bass we caught and he will be back for another fishing trip."

Preston came up through the Florida Bass Federation and fishes the Pro circuit and well deserves a hardy THANK YOU !!
